DNA bird sexing is a non-surgical tool used to determine the gender of the bird in case it can't be determine by its physical appearance or characteristics. We use PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) to detect the presence of male and female chromosomes in the bird's DNA. Our associated laboratories performed DNA test on feathers for many different species. You can collect a sample by plucking feathers from the bird's breast. Collection kits can easily be put together at home by following our Feather collection sample instructions.
